MONKEY EDIT

Hello Brougham Faithful!

Thank you for purchasing your Dallas Away Ticket(s) through the Emerald City Supporters. We are so pleased to have you represent us! There is important information regarding visiting supporter restrictions in the Gameday Information section, so please read through this email and take note!

Tickets:
Your tickets can be picked up at the WILL CALL window at the North entrance of the stadium. The box office opens at 4 pm.

Parking:
Parking for visiting supporters can be found in the RED PARKING LOT.

Pre-Func:
There is no official pre-func set up for this match, but we suggest you might want to meet your fellow supporters at The Londoner, which is in the parking lot/shopping area next to the stadium.

The Londoner
5454 W Main Street #123
Frisco Texas 75033
(214)618-5025
www.thelondonerpub.com

Since there is a small group heading to this match, we do not have an official security escort. We do suggest however, that you pick up your tickets at Will Call and head to your seats early to avoid mixing with the general crowd.

Gametime (Important Information): Emerald City Supporters is a supporters group. That's important to remember. Our reason for being at the match is to spur our boys on toward victory; everything else is secondary.

• Our section is always treated as General Admission, we do not enforce seat assignments. Our tickets will be in the top two rows of section 119. Everyone is invited to stand where they feel most comfortable, but PLEASE – make sure that you stay in these two rows and do not move your seat.

• We are still under sanctions from last year's match, so ECS is not permitted to bring any banners, flags, drums, poles, or instruments of any kind into the stadium for this match. Hopefully our restrictions will be lifted after this match!

• Do not engage in any way with home fans. Security will keep them at bay; there's no need to engage in any wordplay, taunting, threats, etc. Please do not waste good beer by throwing it at a Dallas supporter. If you have an issue, notify security or stadium staff.

• We understand that for many this may be a vacation in which you meet up with friends and family in the area, and that's great! They are more than welcome to stand with us, as long as they do not display the colors and gear of the home team. Our section is the away section, and stadium security may mistake your friend or family member for an instigator, and no one wants that.

Eternal Blue Forever Green,
ECS Travel Monkey

Any of you that reside in Texas or surrounding areas, do you ever get together and do viewing parties? Just curious as I will be arriving in Texas on gameday for Sounders vs. NY which is on NBC on 9/20 and wondering if anyone might be interested in getting together maybe at same place where normally prefunk The Londoner?

I'm really looking forward to this as one of the first away trips. I noticed that the Hertz booking page was stating that the discount convention number wasn't valid. Does anyone know if the discount is still active or can someone post the correct number? Thanks in advance!

For those who had asked about TX ECS members, check out the Heartland Horde subgroup forum or the HH FB page. We have several members in TX, including one of our admins.

I am a Sounders fan stuck down here in Frisco TX. I attended the first Sounders game down here this year and we were loud and proud. I am a member of the new Texas Sea Hawkers, a Seattle Seahawks booster club. We had about 20 of our members at the first game. I will be attending the September game and we may even have a group tailgating before the game. We welcome you down to Texas and look forward to meeting more Sounders members. If you need information before you come down or would like to get together let me know. Our Sea Hawkers group has adopted the Sounders as well and will continue to support the team. Unfortunately Sounders stuff down here is like Seahawks stuff, very rare so I buy stuff online. Feel free to send information or questions and we look forward to seeing you guys down here.

From the ECS Store... NOTE: For this match, the ECS has been banned from all tifo privileges. We will not be allowed to have a drum, bullhorn, flags, two-poles, rail banner or any other visual or instrumental support.

Any idea why this is? Did something happen at the last match?

No, that has been FC Dallas policy the last few aways. They just don't like fun. It also clearly gives them a competitive advantage...? (snark)
