I am in the Frisco area and will see if I can get some clarification on this policy.

Please do not contact the Dallas FO on this item. We've been sanctioned for this season as a result of our behavior during last season's match. There has been extensive communication between them and us, we've accepted the sanctions and are moving forward with what we can.

Its funny you say that because our group down here had a flag we flew, and in the end area was the Sounders group with drums and flags. Didnt seem like the sanctions were there for the first game this year. Our Seattle group down here will maintain our support with flags and other stuff without an affiliation with the ECS. It's pretty disappointing that this happened, I didn't realize the group was like this I am not an official member yet and will hold off until after than.

Not sure what you mean by this...

If you're meaning that the sanctions were a result of something along the lines of hooliganism or other unruly behavior, far from it. That we're under sanction at all is rather ridiculous and more the fault of Dallas game day operations than anything we "did". It's a long story, but suffice to say, a bunch of clowns run FCD game day operations.

I cannot deny that comment. They tried to stop us from raising our Flag, but in the end had to let us do it. There was a big Sounders group for the first game down here representing so not sure the sactions really mean.

sanctions mean we're not allowed flags, rail banners, drums, etc. We're still allowed in, but no supporter's group materials basically.

The sanctions were supposed to be over after the past game, but extended because we supposedly didn't send someone over at the right time/place to meet their liason... but evidently it's ok for Dallas gameday to change plans on us on a whim and change their minds about certain things for no good reason at all.

From what I've seen/read, I think Dallas would rather we not show up anymore so they don't have to expend any effort dealing with any away fans at all.

All this being said, my only question about the "no supporter group material" sanction would be; if ECS is prohibited from use of such products, would FC Dallas supporters face similar prohibition? And if not wouldn't that be discrimination?

No, the FC Dallas supporters do not face any sanctions, and it is no way discriminatory.

Anyone have an idea where we can pickup the tickets purchased from ECS and if there is a pregame party? Last one I went to we partied in the parking lot grill, brews, and everything else. Then afterwards went to the "English" pub to the west.

Tickets will be left at Will Call - FCD still does physical tickets.

Pre-game info coming soon (today or tomorrow)

Do we have a count of how many people are showing up? My friends and I are already in town and are staying at the comfort suites.

E-mail has been sent out...

We have a fairly small group for this one so there's no security escort. For the last away match against FC Dallas (in April) a group of us met up in the Red (Stadium West) Parking Lot that's adjacent to the Londoner (Pub) and we kind of slowly walked/moseyed our way over to the Will Call and got our tickets and then had to wait for the gates to open... We had a pretty good little turn out, shared some beers, and chanted and cheered loud for our Sounders and we came out with the win and cooled off the then hot unbeaten Dallas team.

I suggest whomever is going to this game to try and meet up in the Red Parking Lot to head over to the Will Call (North End of Stadium) OR just meetup around the Will Call to get our tickets sometime around 6:25 PM-6:30 PM, seeing as FC Dallas doesn't let people in until an hour and a half prior to kickoff... Which will be 6:30 PM for this 8 PM match. If we all are at the Will Call around 6:30 PM we can get our tickets and enter the stadium together and head towards our section together and get situated and get some beers/food/etc. Being that this is a Wednesday Night game I don't expect a lot of Dallas fans but since they're currently in 4th place and their baseball team has gone to crap there might be more fans that usual for a Wednesday game! We shall see...

I hope to see many of you there! By the way my name is Craig. I look forward to Wednesday night! GO SOUNDERS!

I could be wrong so don't quote me on this but I think we sold like 15-20ish tickets through ECS that are at Will Call for us (last time I checked) and then of course we'll have more fans that show up... Last time we have maybe 25-30 people and a few stragglers that joined us in our section. If you know some Sounders fans going to the game or we see some fans then perhaps they can join us... Last time they roped off about 5 rows below us and had us "separated" from the Dallas supporters. Haha! So we used that rope to create a third and fourth "row" of space for some of the extra ECS that decided to join us...

Like the Travel e-mail/page says... There's really no seating assignments for this match and our section/seats are General Admission (GA) so everyone kinda just picks where they wanna be and who they wanna be by and we go with it. It's always a good time and it's even better when we win! GO SOUNDERS! See you there.

I will be picking up my tickets at will call at 4pm when they open. I will then be heading to the Londoner to prefunk. Would love to meet all 21 others going. We could then head over to stadium together. I will also be planning to return to Londoner postgame before needing to head out to airport for my flight out at the crack of dawn.
