Purchased. Flying in/out of LAX on Friday 10/17 on Alaska 542, flying back Monday 10/20 on Alaska 477. The rest of my trip details (lodging, car, companions) still TBD at this time.

How much you drop on the flight? Trying to line this one up.

$218 for that specific itinerary. Some are a tad better, some worse. Match is sunday night which makes it harder to plan, but I'm just staying the night and going to work straight from seatac Monday

It's still early, but I picked up tickets to this, dragging my siblings along too. They'll be the ones in the back with the Starbucks cups trying to read the song cards and wave the old scarves I gave them.

Airfare on JetBlue is cheap right now, $166 to fly into Long Beach Saturday morning and fly out Monday morning, $176 to fly out Monday afternoon.

I bought two tailgate tix, but can't go now. Am I allowed to sell them to another ECS member?

I may be going to this match, looking for some advice from fellow fans who have taken this trip. Would taking an 8:45 flight out of LAX after the match be a realistic option? I know the stadium isn't far so I am wondering what the after-match traffic is like.

Not even remotely. Match won't be out until 7:30. Traffic is a nightmare leading HDC, Away Supporters will be held for 30+ minutes, and LAX is a disaster even when you're not in a hurry.

Thanks for the info. I've flown in and out of LAX too many times to count and I can't recall ever waiting long for security at night, but I know half the battle is getting out of the StubHub Center, which I've never done before. Guess I'll have to fly back Monday morning similar to other people unless someone else knows of a later flight on Sunday night????

Unless you want to spend the night in SFO, your only option is to wait till the morning. Everything later than 9pm has an overnight layover in SFO. Alaska used to have a late night route, but it was mostly empty so they got rid of it a number of years back.

Ok, we're booked for this one finally. Word.

Also, AS just dropped their prices for SoCal around these dates, they're stupid cheap at the moment. Now is the time to get it.
