We just moved to LA after having SSFC season tix since year 1 -- where is the ECS away section at StubHub? and do we buy tickets via ECS or from StubHub? Can't wait to see the boys stomp the Galaxy in April 2015!

I would suggest to buy tickets through ECS in the store when they become available. If you become a member and purchase through ECS store there is a discount. You can also purchase through ECS store if non-member through the store. I would also suggest checking out So Cal Sound they are an ECS sub group for supporters in your area.

There was a significant policy shift at the end of last season in LA. If you do not buy a ticket from ECS, you will not be allowed to stand with us. LA conducts double checks, wristband visiting supporters, and only those with wristbands are allowed into the visiting supporter section. Please keep this in mind if you choose to buy tickets directly from LA.

That is a very interesting policy. I can sort of see why that could be needed though. Much different than Chicago where it is fairly empty.

LA was dealing with multiple sellout dates thanks to the Never-Ending Landon Donovan Good Bye Tour. But, they will be continuing with the policy thanks to the Never-Ending Welcome to MLS Steven Gerrard Tour.

So, I think it's here to stay, honestly.

That sure wasn't the case the games I have gone to in Chicago. So, no need. I can see more of a need in LA or other places though.

Yeah, Mike McGee isn't quite the same draw in Chicago.

So, if we buy directly from LA, do we know what section ECS will be in so we can get close?

Of course mindful of CBA negotiations but this week Alaska has a deal for $79/$75 one way to LAX along with 5% discount using code: EC6208. Of course terms apply. But since this is not one of discount trip times for 10% wanted to share. Understanding is deal ends 3/9/15.

Of course yesterday morning i posted the above information for flights on Alaska. But I was just able to book my flight from Seattle to LAX for $159.00 roundtrip. Fying in Sunday AM and leaving Tuesday. We were going to fly in Saturday, except I didn't want to miss the S2 homegame vs. Timbers on Saturday night.
