TIFO CHECK IN & ENTERING STADIUM:
6:30 pm: We will all group together at the Visiting Supporters Parking lot (Silver overflow/VTA Lot/Employee Lot) and be escorted by stadium security to pass through security gates together and enter the stadium. Tifo and all bags, purses etc. will be checked at this time. You may not bring any food or drinks into the stadium, not even water. We enter security as a group with Tifo at the front, so you need to be at this location no later than 6:15 pm. It is estimated between grouping at 6:15 and entering stadium near 6:30 p.m. as we go through bag checks etc. We are Section 134. All seats are to be treated as GA.

GAMETIME (IMPORTANT INFORMATION):
7:30 p.m. Kickoff

Emerald City Supporters is a supporters group. That's important to remember. Our reason for being at the match is to spur our boys to victory; everything else is secondary. Keep your alcohol consumption in check before, during and after the match.

• Our section will be treated as General Admission; we do not enforce seat assignments. Tifo and capos will be in the front few rows. Everyone else is invited to stand where they feel most comfortable.
• Participation is encouraged. Don’t worry if you don’t know all the words, just follow along the best you can and your support will be felt! And, we’ll have song cards to hand out. Feel free to ask for some.
• There may be times where you can’t see as well as you might like due to flags and tifo. We like to wave flags. Even during the run of play sometimes. We feel like it’s an important part of showing the boys our support. If a flag is in your way, and you don’t like it- please feel free to stand in an alternate location within our section.
Don't drink so much that you get sloppy and give anything less than your best. YOUR BEST IS EXPECTED. You should work to exceed that.
• Do not engage in any way with home fans. There's no need to engage in any wordplay, taunting, threats, etc. If you have an issue, notify ECS travel monkeys on the ground or stadium staff.
• You should expect that you will be under surveillance at Avaya Stadium and conduct yourselves accordingly. BEHAVE AS THOUGH YOU ARE BEING WATCHED, BECAUSE YOU ARE.

FRIENDS OR FAMILY IN OTHER MLS TEAM GEAR OR COLORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO STAND WITH US. Section 134 is designated for fans and supporters of Seattle Sounders FC. If you or someone in your group is wearing colors of another MLS team, they will be asked to remove those items. If they refuse, we will try to have your group reseated. If stadium staff cannot accommodate a reseating, then your group will be asked to leave.

AGAIN, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REMAIN IN OUR SECTION, AND WE DON’T CARE HOW IT WORKS IN OTHER AMERICAN SPORTS. WE NEGOTIATED THIS GROUP RATE, WE ORGANIZED THIS TRIP, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON. -yes, we’re serious about this.

POSTGAME:
Standard procedure for all MLS matches is to hold the visiting supporters in the section for up to 15-30 minutes in order to give the home fans time to clear the concourse. We will then be escorted by stadium security out of our section and will proceed back to Visiting Supporters parking lot. There is no tailgating allowed postgame.

Any idea if they've changed their stance on Away Supporter section? I hope they wise up with this new stadium!

That was the first question out of the travel monkey's mouth. The situation is much improved, now that it is their stadium, rather than the 49ers. We'll have these up for sale by First kick, or CBA settlement, whichever comes first.

Much more detail to come on this topic. But for those of you that need a little nibble....

http://www.seats3d.com/mls/san_jose_ear ... #/level_1/

Go to this link and you'll find a lovely site for the newly constructed Buckshaw Replacement Park located in, you guessed it, San Jose. The visiting fan section (apparently San Jose doesn't know what "supporters" are) is essentially sect. 134 with it's own entrance, restrooms and concessions. Stay tuned for more to come.

I'm ready to buy those tix. But I'm new to the group (and seattle for that matter - moving to tacoma in May from nh and am already a season ticket owner). So how Domingo about using an ECS discount for Alaskan? Thanks!
