I'll be driving in on Friday. Any one else up for some bar hopping that night? Would love to drink with some fellow Sounders fans!

FYI: There's only 2 tix left in the store for this match. If you've been stalling you'd better claim 'em while you can.

This match is a great example of why you can't wait to buy your tickets until the last minute. We originally had 140 tickets allotted to us, but due to slow sales (only 63 by earlier this week) and demand from SKC fans, we had to give back a fair amount of unsold tickets. Certainly there has been a nice rush in the past week as we sold our remaining 20 tickets in just a few days. However, there are no more tickets available to us, we now have rows of SKC fans sitting behind us in our section, and only 1 buffer row between us and opposing fans. This also means that anyone that buys tickets other ways have no room to join us in the section should they want to.

Granted this is the most people we have had in KC outside of a cup final, but we could have had much more than this. I'm encouraged that we're getting a better showing in the Heartland, but we really need to be better than this.

Thanks for the update, Joel. I bought my two tickets in March but I was looking for two more for my nephew and sister who live in KS if anyone can't make it and is looking to sell.

Thanks,

Peter

Hold tight for a bit please, Peter & others. I might have some limited good news in a few minutes.

I just spoke with our liaison, Darin Canova, at Sporting. He has an extra row of 11 seats available at the top of the same section ECS is in, section 124. These extra seats are in row 21 while ECS will be in rows 8-17. So there's a few rows separating these seats from the main group, but at least they're still in the same section. It's definitely not ideal. But it's the best option we have. These tickets are $30 apiece. Please give Darin a call at 913-387-3443 if you would like to buy any of these seats.

FYI: once these 11 seats are gone section 124 will be completely sold-out.

EDIT: We're still trying to sort out how to manage extra tailgate requests for those who missed the purchase option in the ECS store. I'll have that info out as soon as possible.

Thank you, Hooch! Just called Darin! I'm all set, but I do I have a question about the pregame BBQ. Are those tickets still available?

Me and a mate are driving up from Texas on Friday, Royals game that night, and mighty SSFC on Saturday. I was super late to the ticket buying party so we're in "Upper ECS Away" in row 21. Will SKC be mad if I bring a flag, since we aren't technically in the "Away section" in a traditional sense? Hope you guys are ready to support your heart out. Up the Sounders!!!

I'm glad to hear you were able to get in. Flags should be okay (to some degree). I'll have more info to share re: flags & tifo when I send out the Monkey Mail next week.

If you don't mind, Ckiser19, please send me a private message with your email address? That way I can include you in that Monkey Mail distribution.

For those who are buying the extra tickets just put on sale, the tailgate option will still be available. PM me your name and bring $15 cash to the tailgate. Also PM Hooch so he can add you to the Monkey Mail list for match day info.
