I am told sunshine and good breweries is the reason people should go to Denver.

I'm a big time Husky football tailgater, so I'm curious what goes down for Sounder away games.

Been to a couple Rapids home games and here's the deal. Free parking, suggested donation tailgate with all you can eat food, all you can drink beer.

Pretty sweet huh? Never been as an away fan but no one hassled the sprinkling of NYCFC fans there last weekend. As long as you are friendly, you'll get the same in return no matter what shirt you have on. The Rapids fans haven't had much to cheer about since 2010 so the tailgate is the most fun part for a lot of them.

I'll be at this one as it's only an hour's ride from FoCo!

Hi Northernlad:

The tailgate you're speaking of is hosted by a Rapids' supporter group, C38, in the west VIP lot at DSGP. While each person is free to chose their own pre-match activities, officially ECS does not join with opposing supporters or supporter groups for tailgating events. We'll be hosting our own pre-func in the away supporters parking in Lot B. Parking is still free there. So if you're attending the Colorado away match as a Sounders supporter I invite you purchase a ticket for our tailgate along with your match ticket in our online store: COL Away.

The deadline to purchase tickets through ECS for this match was midnight last night. You should be able to contact the Rapids' ticket office directly, identify yourself as an away supporter, and be sold a ticket in section 100 (the away supporters section) at DSGP.

Stoked to be going to my first away game. Missed the opp to get tickets through weareecs.com but I'll be there nonetheless with a few of my Denver friends.

Anyone going to the Colorado Mammoth game on Friday night? If not, anyone interested? Not sure when everyone's coming down, but I'm a season ticket holder and have a connection for tickets.

I presume that tickets purchased via weareecs.Com will be distributed in person pre-game?

YOU PRESUME WRONG!

Seriously though, tickets should be in your email later tonight or tomorrow at latest. The email address on your store account is up to date, right? 8-)

The monkey email & tickets were sent out earlier tonight. If you did not receive any email in your inbox please double check your spam/junk folder. If you still don't have anything, or if you received an email from us w/o attachments, please send me a msg and I'll resend your tickets.

If you did not receive anything from us at all please be sure to check the email address you have on file in the ECS store.

Are there any restrictions on flags/ flag poles? If not, I'll be swinging by a Home Depot on my way to the game to pick up some pvc. Happy to get extra if any other traveling supporters are planning on showing up with flags.

We have allowances for a couple of our BFFs (w/ telescoping poles), which one of our tifo crew will be hauling from Seattle. He'll also have some smaller flags and 2-pole flags. And one of our Denver-based members will be bringing PVC that is suitable for some smaller flags as well the 2-pole flags.

So definitely please do bring your flag(s). We should have PVC available for you inside the stadium. It'll most likely be down towards the front row or two of our section.
