More details on that as we get closer - usually we start off in the afternoon. Going to be a busy day around the area as I'm guessing there will be good turnout for the game with all the soccer tournaments going down. I'm coaching the first half of the day, all the soccer!

Rental Car?
Zip Car?
Stowaway Sounder team bus?

I wish we could get a bus, hard to know how many will actually come sometimes. Maybe next time? For now though, I would say your best bet is rental car or zip car as there is no public transit + uber/taxi will set you back some serious $. I may be able to offer up seats in my car depending on my availability.

Gah, I get to got to one live game a year, and no Dempsey, no Morris, no Evans (maybe?), no Valdez... This is going to be a real shell of a team out there. Who am I kidding, it'll still be fun.

For some reason (or bad luck), this game is typically scheduled after a mid-week game or around summer tourney/call-ups. Before the unbalanced schedule, this game was typically in the Fall. The last time we saw a win here was back in October of 2011 with Montero putting away two goals (our only win ever at NE). Least to say it hasn't been easy since then, but it's always been fun!

A friend and I are considering getting a zip car for the match. We wanted see if anybody else was looking for a ride? We can fit 2 more people possibly 3. Cost would be $80 for the day so $20 person. If anybody's interested, feel free to PM me.

Now with final rosters only Dempsey & Valdez will be missing due to Nats call ups.

Probably a good bet. It might be worth posting this in the relevant Facebook groups below if you haven't already as I believe there are a few who are looking for rides/seats:

So, two things:

1. No flags? :-(

2. We have a drum again?

I'll definitely be at the Red Rooster.

In transit home but unless you have a 2ft pole which most of us don't there is not a way to have a pole to wave a flag. That does not mean you can't bring one but there are size limitations on those as well. I will post all the prohibited items yes it's very long thanks Patriots.

I think this is what you're (I'm) after:

http://www.gillettestadium.com/security ... prohibited

Bags of any kind except gallon sized clear freezer bags or authorized clear bags measuring 12" x 12" x 6" and women's clutches not to exceed 8" x 5" x 2.
Unmanned Aircraft Systems
Remotely Controlled Model Aircraft
Selfie sticks
GoPro Cameras
Battery Operated Heated Jackets
Any type of portable chair or seat, other than those approved for persons with accessibility issues
Video cameras
Tripods or monopods
Flag poles over 2 feet in length
Weapons of any kind, including pocket/utility knives
Food or beverages
Illegal drugs and substances
Coolers or containers, including cans and bottles
Umbrellas
Fireworks, pyrotechnics, flares
Laser pointers
Animals, other than service dogs assisting those with disabilities
Strollers or baby seats
Segways
Noisemakers, bullhorns, air horns, vuvuzelas
Helium balloons, beach balls
Lacrosse balls
Any alcoholic beverages
Food or beverages [unless the individual is in possession of a letter signed by Kelly Way, Director of Operations, TeamOps LLC]
Folding and/or standalone chairs
Seat Cushions
Hover Boards

2ft total? Or 2ft plus the flag itself? I have a 3 ft pole and the flag on it is like...2.5' on its own.

I think I may bring it and see if they actually argue it. The "acceptable items" list says "Flags with poles under 2 feet in length", which I could read to mean "flags with an exposed pole no longer than 2 ft".

After having the supporter call this morning they are very serious about no poles longer than 2ft. I asked for 6, was told no. Asked for 4 was told no. Asked for 3 was told no.
