TICKET SALES will end at 10am Monday 8/1/16. Don't delay. We've had good sales so far. Let's get it over 100+ and show "The Wall" how a supporter group gets it done!

Monkey Edit:

We have made our group allotment purchase for tickets to this match. If you find yourself making that great last minute decision to go here is the contact information to get a ticket in our section. In addition, if you purchase a ticket elsewhere in the stadium- you cannot just join our section. Only those having a ticket for our specific section will be allowed into our section.

If anyone who has possession or access to a pop up tent could bring one that would be greatly appreciated so we could have some shade during our tailgate.
Thanks,

If I miss the "March to the Match" part, I simply assume my own risk getting to the section, correct?
Don't worry, we will be in proper attire.

ECS MONKEY MAIL | ORLANDO CITY SC AWAY | AUGUST 7 2016

Hello Away Travelers!!

Welcome to the first Sounders away headed to Orlando, Florida! You are part of the lucky 97 that have purchased tickets for this inaugural (and hot) event.

Tickets:
Your Orlando City vs Seattle Sounders ticket(s), on Sunday, August 7 at 7pm EDT to stand with the Emerald City Supporters are attached to this email! Print them and bring them with you. ORL does not honor electronic ticketing. You must print your ticket, bring it with you and keep it on you at all times.

Stadium:
Camping World Stadium (Orlando Citrus Bowl)
One Citrus Bowl Place, Orlando, FL 32805

Parking & Pre-function:
Visiting Supporters (that’s us) are encouraged to park in Lot 6, the cost is $20 per vehicle. There is no shade and only one porta-potty in this lot. It will be hot!

We’re having a no-host tailgate in Lot 6, so bring your own food/beverage or bring some to share. Gas BBQs are allowed, no charcoal. Our tailgate will start around 4:30pm, but you’re free to show up earlier – the lot opens at 3.

Entering the Stadium:
At 5:30pm stadium security will meet us in Lot 6 and we will march to the stadium together. Tifo/capo crew will go first, as each item will be checked by security. Once we are all in, we will be escorted to our section. We are in Section P02, rows G-M, and the section is treated as General Admission.

Sealed water bottles are NOT allowed into Camping World Stadium – you will have to empty or toss them before entry.

Gametime (Important Information):
Emerald City Supporters is a supporters group. That's important to remember. Our reason for being at the match is to spur our boys on toward victory; everything else is secondary.

Our section is always treated as General Admission, we do not enforce seat assignments. Tifo, capos, the drum, and security will be in the front few rows. Everyone is invited to stand where they feel most comfortable.
Keep your scarf tied AT ALL TIMES, inside and outside of the stadium.
Participation is encouraged. We encourage those who know our songs to help lead others. Song Cards can be downloaded ahead of time from our site: https://www.weareecs.com/multimedia/songs Don't worry if you don't know all the words, just follow along the best you can and your support will be felt! Song cards will be on hand as well.
No bottled water (or any beverage) is allowed into the stadium.
Two poles and flags are allowed. Larger flags and telescoping poles are not.
There may be times where you can't see as well as you might like due to flags and tifo. We like to wave flags. Even during the run of play sometimes. We feel like it's an important part of showing the boys our support, and they are going to need every ounce of strength. If a flag is in your way, and you don't like it - please feel free to change seats. That's part of why we do GA, so you're not stuck in an uncomfortable spot.
Do not engage in any way with home fans. Security will keep them at bay; there's no need to engage in any wordplay, taunting, threats, etc. If you have an issue, notify ECS travel monkey or stadium staff.
We understand that for many this may be a vacation in which you meet up with friends and family in the area, and that's great! They are more than welcome to stand with us, as long as they do not display the colors and gear of the home team. Our section is the away section, and stadium security may mistake your friend or family member for an instigator and no one wants that. They must have a ticket to get into our section. Find a travel monkey to assist with a ticket exchange if necessary.
FRIENDS OR FAMILY IN OTHER MLS TEAM GEAR OR COLORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO STAND WITH US. Section P02 in the stadium is designated for supporters of Seattle Sounders FC. This match has big implications, and it is very, very important to those who have traveled to be here. Passions will be running high. If you or someone in your group is wearing colors of another MLS team, they will be asked to remove those items. If they refuse, we will try to have your group reseated. If stadium staff cannot accommodate a reseating, then your group will be asked to leave.

AGAIN, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REMAIN IN OUR SECTION, AND WE DON’T CARE HOW IT WORKS IN OTHER AMERICAN SPORTS. WE NEGOTIATED THIS GROUP RATE, WE ORGANIZED THIS TRIP, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON. -yes, we’re pretty serious about this.

Postgame:
The MLS established procedure for those holding away supporter tickets is to remain in our section for up to 20 minutes while the home fans are cleared from the concourses. When the match ends, we ask that you scoot to the interior of our section as to avoid any contact with home fans. We remain until stadium security gives us the instruction to leave, and then we all leave together. If you choose not to stay with the group, you assume the risks of your own security. We will be escorted back to Lot 6 at this time by stadium security and probably local PD.

Eternal Blue Forever Green,
ECS Travel Monkey

Provided we can get the pop up tent to fit in my car. We will be bringing one with us from Jacksonville. Expected arrival around 330 depending on how I-4 traffic is that day.

Has anyone had any luck with the above contact information? I've emailed (no response) and called. When I called another person had responded to saying that I had the wrong phone number. HELP??

A big "Thank You" to the traveling supporters! It was an amazing group that truly gave their full 90. I think the biggest issue the monkeys had to deal with was how big to make the temporary fencing for the tail gate party. As many of you heard me say, "We only get one chance to make a first impression". Well, we made a tremendous impression that will not be soon forgotten! Thanks again, Lee.
