Hello ECS,

You all may remember me as the Houston local, well I moved to San Diego last October and will be heading up to LA to see the game Sunday! :D

Just wondering what parking section the unofficial tailgate will be so we don't wander around too much if we show up too early.

Driving up Sunday morning and back south after the game, let me know if anyone needs a ride.

thanks ECS!!!

ECS MONKEY MAIL LA AWAY APRIL 23, 2017 @ 1:00 p.m. PDT

Hello Away Travelers!!

Welcome to the third away match in a row for our boys. They need our full support to get through this road-heavy stretch of the season. LA will hear us sing. You are part of a group of 220+ traveling supporters. Here is everything you and your new best friends need to know for this match day:

**Warning**

We have been moved from our usual shaded section in 116 to Section 127, which will be slightly cooler than the surface of the sun. Be prepared, slather yourself in sunscreen and drink lots of water. The boys will need your voices for all 90 minutes. With that said, we have a few festivities lined up for the day before the game (Saturday), for those of you not smashing-and-grabbing.

Saturday Fun

Saturday Beach Soccer:
Location: Belmont Pier in Long Beach. http://www.belmontpier.com/home/
Time: 11a.m.- 2 p
.m.

Details: This will be a co-ed/all ages kick-around. We will have some basic supplies, but if you want food/drink, you've gotta bring your own. We'll have some markers to point you in the general direction, but we won't know the exact spot until we get there, so check the LA Away Trip page or with one of the Travel Monkeys on Twitter.

Night Before Event (the pre-pre-funk):
Location: 130 Pine Ave, Long Beach, CA 90802

Phone: (562) 225-4834
Time: 6 p.m. - 2 a.m.

Details: We will have a meet-up at Moonshiners Gastro & Whiskey Bar in Long Beach on Saturday, April 22. It's a nice place, and we've been able to secure free entry (no cover!), drink specials and a dedicated section for our group. Time will be around 6 p.m. until we close the place down.

This is a great area, with lots of food and drink options. Close to the beach too.

Tickets:

Your LA Away Ticket(s) to stand with the Emerald City Supporters for the match on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at StubHub Center in Carson, California were attached to the email! Print your ticket(s) and bring them with you, and keep it with you for the entirety of the match. THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT ELECTRONIC TICKETS FROM YOUR PHONE.

Parking:

Park is in Lot 16. You will need the visiting supporter parking pass attached to this email and the $20.00 parking fee. Parking opens at 9:00 a.m. Lot 16 is best accessed via driveway A off of Avalon Blvd. See the attached parking map with the email for specific details.

No-Host Tailgate:

There is no official tailgate this time around; it’s too damn early. We will be in Lot 16 starting around 10:00 a.m. You must be in the lot no later 10:30 a.m.; TIFO inspection will be at 10:45 a.m., and we march at 11:00 a.m.

Stadium Entry:

The Galaxy will again be triple-checking tickets. ONLY those holding Visiting Supporter Tickets will be allowed to enter with us. Everyone else will have to go through a different gate.

Game time Expectations:

Emerald City Supporters is a supporter group. That's important to remember. Our reason for being at the match is to spur our boys on toward victory; everything else is secondary.

· Our section will be in Section 127. Our section will be treated as General Admission; we do not enforce seat assignments tifo, capos, the drum, and security will be in front few rows. Everyone else is invited to stand where they feel most comfortable.

· Participation is encouraged. We'll have song cards so you can sing, chant, and go mental right along with us. Don't worry if you don't know all the words, just follow along the best you can and your support will be felt!

· There may be times where you can't see as well as you might like due to flags and tifo. We like to wave flags. Even during the run of play sometimes. We feel like it's an important part of showing the boys our support. If a flag is in your way, and you don't like it - please feel free to change seats. That's part of why we do GA, so you're not stuck in an uncomfortable spot.

· Friends or family in other MLS team gear or colors will not be allowed to stand with us. If you or someone in your group is wearing colors of another MLS team, they will be asked to remove those items. If they refuse, we will try to have your group reseated. If the stadium staff cannot accommodate a reseating, then your group will be asked to leave.

· Please, do not engage in any way with home fans. Security will keep them at bay; there's no need to engage in any wordplay, taunting, threats, etc. If you have an issue, notify ECS Security or stadium staff.

Postgame:

We will held in the section for a MINIMUM of 30 minutes. Security will escort the group back to Lot 16. If you choose not to stay with the group, you assume the risks of your own security. Due to recent incidents related to supporter’s groups around the league, our entire section will be held. This is for the safety and security of our group.

Itinerary Recap:

As always, make SURE you check with the travel monkey on the ground for the latest schedule/details.

9:00 a.m. - Lot 16 opens. Find your pants and pour yourself a mimosa.

10:30 p.m. - Be in Lot 16.

This Fog City Faithful Supporter will be attending my first LA away match. I'll be driving down from SF to the match and would like to park with our supporters. Since I had to by a ticket in 128, yes it was last minute, I did not get the email with visiting supporters parking "permit". Is it possible to get a copy of the permit?
Go Sounders!
Cheers, Ed

Thank you for asking they just informed us this morning that they have in fact moved to the clear bag policy contrary to what it says currently on their website.

In addition, each person may bring one sealed & unopened water bottle into the stadium.

Fun! Melting bags in direct sun! Glad I asked before packing for the trip; good to hear about the water though.

I've been stuck in traffic and am not going to make it to the lot before 11am (5 minutes from now). Where should I park? The pass attached in monkey mail says it's only valid until 11am.
