Pricing for match only will be $40 for ECS Members and $45 for non-members and bus + match combo is still being determined based on our response from the bus company but it should be very close to same as last year for this away trip.

Being our 2nd Away trip of the season we are working as fast as we can to get this posted. Look for early February for when tickets will be posted and available for purchase.

1/23/19- Update on Train + Match Ticket Option:

These are the parameters in which we could offer a group discount to our members for a roundtrip train from Seattle to Vancouver for Vancouver Away. There is not an option to alter the itinerary and information presented below.

1) We would need 30 people or more to purchase a train + match combo.
2) Train would leave Amtrak King Street Station on March 30, 2019 with a 7:45 a.m. departure, but you would be required to arrive at least 60 minutes ahead of train departure and all members of our group would need to be accounted for by then. That means a 6:30 a.m. report time. Train would arrive at Amtrak Pacific Central Station at 11:45 a.m.. You would be responsible to get yourself to the stadium at minimum by 5:00 p.m.. There will be no transportation from train to stadium, but you will have time to explore Vancouver.
3) You would be responsible for your own hotel accommodations because this is an overnight trip and return train is the day after the match.
4) Train would leave Amtrak Pacific Central Station on March 31, 2019 with a 5:45 p.m. departure, but you would be required to arrive at least 60 minutes ahead of train departure and all members of our group would need to be accounted for by then. That means a 4:30 p.m. report time. Train would arrive at King Street Station 10:10 p.m..
5) If at any point you don't meet up at the required times and miss the train, we are not responsible for you missing the train or your transportation from that point.
6) The pricing per person for the train would be $80 per person with a savings of $20 per person.
7) The pricing for your match ticket would be $40.
8) Total pricing for train + match ticket would be $120.

You have one week to vote in the poll if you want this option with the parameters set forth above. The decision to provide a train + match option will then be decided based on responses to the poll.

1/30/19- Update due to issues with the process of crossing international borders and our processes and Amtrak's we will not be providing a train option.

2/24- Update tickets are now on sale to non-members. Members make sure you log in to get your discount.

It's been a few years since I've done the Van trip. How much does the bus+ticket run? aka what was the price last year since we are waiting for the quote?

If I can get off in Bellingham on the way back that would be perfect. Seattle, Sounders game and Mom.

I believe this would not be a problem getting off earlier. Its just not possible to get on in either direction on a different train than the group.

Just a head's up - Saver fare tickets on Amtrak for this exact itinerary are currently running $68 RT, which is cheaper than the group option presented above. I know that fare will probably go up as more people buy tickets and time goes by, but I just booked that exact same itinerary for Rom and myself for less...

The reason it is cheaper is Amtrak has a certain % of tickets on each trip reserved for the saver fare. Unfortunately the amount that was requested to quote is higher than the remaining saver tickets remaining. I asked for clarification when I got the initial price and it was higher.

Is there any idea what section you are going to be in? I have seen previous trips have been around 219.
