Yeah, I wasn't really concerned about having time to get to the match. It was more a question of the 2-3 hours before the match to pick up the ticket at the prefunc. If getting to the prefunc between 5:00-:5:30 is acceptable, then I'm probably fine. Otherwise, I may be cutting it close and wondering what happens if I don't make it in time. I guess I'll just wait for the mail with instructions and see what things are going to look like.

Typically we enter the stadium 90 minutes to 2 hours prior to the match per MLS requirements for away travel.
If you are going to be there by 5:00 p.m./5:30 p.m. you should be able to get your ticket and enter with the group. If not, there are alternative ways to get your tickets, which hopefully doesn't include making your travel monkey standing outside waiting for you. :) But follow @ECSTravelMonkey on twitter in case you are pushing it so you can reach out for a backup plan.

I'm sure it's no hassle - our travel monkeys are busy p̶u̶l̶l̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶e̶e̶t̶h̶ nailing down details with LAFC, and knowing them, the monkey mail will be full of details, but sometimes it takes time.

Plan everything else you can, as usual, and the matchday info will follow.

I booked into the Holiday Inn LAX for $120+tax.
Hotel Shuttle from LAX.
Uber from hotel to prefunc.
March (?) from prefunc to Match.
Uber back to LAX Holiday Inn.
Hotel Shuttle back to airport next day.
If anyone has similar Uber plans, hit me up.

Go Sounders!

Just posted details in top of this thread but suggest using Lyft instead of Uber because Lyft dropoff is right in the same parking lot as our prefunc.

We booked a night at the USC hotel. Assuming that it is safe to walk from there to lot 6 for the meet up. Anyone else staying there?

USC hotel is safe. Just don’t walk south of the stadium.

update: you will be walking through LAFC suppoter’s tailgates if any. I was commenting on the south LA crime

Monkeys highly suggest if you are walking from the north area of the stadium for any reason that you at least walk in pairs, keep your scarves tied and walk on the outside sidewalk down South Figuroa street to the Southeast Gate, instead of inside route which will force you to walk by LAFC's tailgate. More details and a very detailed map will come with Monkey Mail.

Some Protips if ya want to maximize your LYFT rides

Open a Hilton Honors Reward account and a Delta SkyMiles account

You will earn points/miles
Link your LYFT account to those reward programs
https://www.deltalyft.com/
https://hiltonhonorslyft.com/hiltonhonorslyft/

If you register your Delta Account to the Seahawks 12status promo
You will earn miles for every yard thrown (ends up being 3-4 thousand a year)
I earned a one way flight in a little over 2 years for doing nothing
https://12status.com

Once you link them, you dont need to do anything else, so its easy and earn free travel/lodging

Yes, there is a fee for parking. We will get the amt confirmed, but in regular season I believe it was $40. It not being regular season may mean that price will go up.
