This is going to be so much fun!! Do you think they will put us down front? The group of Americans that traveled so far.

Tangier Feb 4th. If anyone is interested I’m going to go out to the Caves of Hercules and Cape Spartel in the morning. Will probably leave around 9am from El Minzah Hotel via petite taxi if enough people want to join. Else I’ll catch a grande taxi from infront of St Andrew’s. Dh$200 rt

Hi everyone --

Last call for tickets in the section through Sounders is today at 5PM PT, so please put in your request if you haven't already.

So, I got a second email overnight from the team inviting me to submit that form, even though I'd submitted it as soon as I got the first email. Did anyone else get that?

Unfortunately, due to the time difference (I'm 9 hours ahead of Seattle), by the time I saw the second email when I woke up today, it was well after 5pm PST. (I've already emailed CustomerService@soundersfc.com to ask if they can confirm they got my initial submission.)

Also, any word on the bus to the match yet - and is the team covering that, too? That wasn't in any of the team's comms.

Just an FYI. I never received a confirmation from the Sounders, but my ticket rep called me yesterday and confirmed my name was on the list.

I just got a reply from the Sounders confirming that they'd gotten my ticket request - no explanation for why I'd gotten a second email, but whatever. It seems to be sorted.

So are there any events happening? I'm flying into Casablanca on the 4th and will take the train to Tangier. I think I get in at about 2:30 in the afternoon.

Also - any idea where the bus will pick up from for the Tangier game? I’m trying to nail down lodging and want to be close - or even in the same hotel if possible!

Thanks all - so close!!

Leaving Seattle tomorrow arrive Tangier on Thursday night late - Looking to meet up with fellow fans in Tangier on Friday - Is there a Facebook group or Whats App group for travelling fans?

I'm confused on what's going on with the buses.

This tweet said that "tickets include bus to / from matches" ...

https://twitter.com/WeAreECS/status/1615530216620982272

... but this tweet links to a page that says that bus transportation on Saturday is $20 ...

https://twitter.com/WeAreECS/status/1620597716714913792

Are buses not actually included with the tickets after all, or is the $20 for a special ECS bus that's being operated in addition to the complimentary buses?

Pretty sure their are no complementary buses, and the team never made any official communication about buses (complementary or otherwise) at all. They're just paying for the first round match tickets.

The buses clearly cost a relative fortune to charter, especially for foreigners trying to book them on a last minute basis. (Thanks, FIFA.) That said, while $20 per person ($15 for current ECS members, don't forget to log in) would be an flagrant ripoff if you were a local, it's likely less expensive than a round trip in petit taxis that you'd be able to negotiate yourself as an obvious tourist.

If something got misunderstood at some point, no worries. I just want to make sure that I'm not missing something.

This article isn't clear at all regarding specifics, but apparently there is some type of free bus transportation for ticket holders.
