So I have not seen anything posted about this and sense a lot of you are slowly getting your power back i figured I would post it.As we all have seen, the east coast was hit pretty hard by hurricane sandy. Specifically New Jersey, and New york. Can't really imagine what that must have been like. But I wanted to send a message to SSE basically asking how they are doing, is everything OK, and are your families OK? At the very least, i wanted to acknowledge what some of you are going through. I hope you guys are OK, and I hope things are getting better.

It sounds like there's only a half a half keg left of no equal left east of Mississippi, but cheers anyway.

He got home, DC opened back up much earlier than further north.

I got back a day late, actually had to get a separate hotel in Long Beach. Despite popular opinion us federal employees aren't made of money- my travel budget is killed except for a MLS Cup Final. :(. The Sounders Fans of NYC are doing a separate fundraiser, check out their Facebook page for details.

Need sleep and a day off...but really hard to complain about that when there's people still without power or a roof over their head. Good luck to the NYC group and their fundraiser!

Glad to see this thread start. I was just out in NY (Brooklyn, which other than Red Hook got off pretty easy) for a wedding on Staten Island (hit hard), then to my sister's in PA (not too bad, but power lost for 5 days). There were some areas hit really hard.

BTW, Carlow East is having a fundraiser for those affected, and they are taking paypal donations.
