Hey all,
I'm Ceej from Tropic Sound in South Florida. We're a "group" scattered across the state and the islands. We've been watching games and chatting on twitter and Facebook for years, but finally decided to <cough cough> organize a few seasons back. This is really our first year trying to make a real run at becoming a subgroup because until now we've all kind of just been lumped into SSE. So, if you want to ride with the Riptide (total cheese, I know, but I promised I'd drop that) Like us on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/TropicSounders follow on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/TropicSounders and Instagram http://www.instagram.com/TropicSounders

We honestly just figured out that we could actually be something more than a bunch of rum filled crazies shouting or typing in all caps together. We've been around since 2009 jumping from forum to forum to whatever social media we could make work. (Try spending 120 mins a week on internet phone calls to Cuba so friends can hear the match.) Just figured there has got to be more of us around here and what better place to start looking.

We will be running into each other soon, Kyle. The will be pizza. There will be party.

I know one guy, John Stafford, works on a boat for a guy who live in BVI… most people who have ended up in the match chats are from countries of our players, or PNW ex-pats in South Florida or Caribbean. Jamaica, St Vince, Bahamas, Cuba, Trinidad, Costa Rica, Panama (2 newbies!), BVI… used to have a couple kids I played with who work resorts in Yucatán, MX, but sent them to Barra Fuerza Verde for "legit" supports group. Lost touch with Barbados crew and since Jozy grew up as our little brother, our original Haitian crew has migrated with him to Toronto. We're spread out like crazy, and Seattle Sounders "East" just didn't quite cut it for us. Lol
