It's good to see the ECS growing all over our state. That's one thing about living in a relatively small state in our Union, one team + one state = One Love...

253 is Tacoma. I know, not seattle, must be eastern Washington.

Pitch it right and you might even be able to get ECS regulars from elsewhere in the region to drive to Sumner or Tacoma to catch the train with you and go through with handouts, answer questions, etc.

I think if you explain it to people right, and let them know they can support the ECS and the energy we bring to the stadium even if they're family types and not in the GA section, they'll sometimes join anyway. That ups your 253 numbers, ups the ECS, and gets us more money for tifo and so forth.

Can you imagine- you could maybe get 50 people signed up on a single train ride, and then teach them some songs! :)

I ripped this from another topic.

Great idea. Also, We need people to sign up for ECS first, then go 253. You need to be ECS, then 253 for a subgroup to work.

I would love to have a train or other public transit meeting prior to match time, then run to Fuel, meet up with everybody else.

For game days the idea of the train is great also getting everyone sign up to ECS is important. One more thing I would add is to get the word out for the away games. We really have to claim our pub and people in Tacoma have to know that on away games the Defiance is watching the game at that pub. I make this comment because for the home opener most of my friends that wanted to watch the game didn't know where to go so we all end up driving to Southcenter.

Did I miss this bus? Former Lakewood ghetto dweller here. I'm so out of the loop on subgroups that I didn't even know you guys were here! Count me in.
