Honestly I wasn't excited about Lodiero at first because of some of the negative press around him, especially the injury related ones. I am really excited to see how he brings up the level of play of the people around him.

Yeah, whether we make the playoffs or not it's nice to enjoy watching the team play again. Lodeiro makes everyone on the team better. With better finishing, this team would have completely blown out everyone the last 4 games.

Not only Lodeiro's play, but the rest of the team just seems like they're engaged now. Before Sigi's sacking it really seemed like many of them just weren't buying in.

Keep this up and the FO won't have much choice but to give Schmetzer the manager's gig full time.

4-2-3-1 is working so much better than Sigi's 4-3-3 or whatever hybrid he decided to use on a given day. That, and we now have a set starting XI. Everyone knows their responsibilities on the pitch.

Only two points out now, and by next weekend we could be above the red line. Amazing what a couple weeks will do.

Yes it is! It's also amazing what good play has done for our section. Things were getting stale for a bit, like we were just going through the motions (mirroring the action on the field) now we seem reinvigorated. Often times the section was great doing our best to lift the club up, but there were so many deflating moments to sing through.

People dont feel like their voices are falling on deaf ears anymore. Its refreshing to see. Also. Last nights second half is everyones new bar for what loud actually sounds like. Please remember this the next time you want to tell me "we were loud". :P

Indeed. Every time the section raises up like that I love it! Then I want to talk to them one by one and say now I *know* how loud you can be and I expect it. In any case, if the team keeps this up I am very excited for what we'll be seeing in the Brougham End!

Missing Sunday's game was pretty annoying, but I sure was proud when my in-laws and mom said "Are they saying "Fuck off, Rose City"? in the second half when we were watching the game down in Scum territory. The whole 2nd half was all Brougham End on the broadcast and it was fantastic.

I'm very annoyed that I have a voice this week...explaining to coworkers who expect me to be unable to speak after every home game that I had to be in Oregon for a family trip
