[Updated 7/3/18 Per Monkey Mail - Jack]

Hello Away Travelers!

Welcome to New England Away! You’ll be joining 70+ of your new (or old) best friends to welcome our boys to New England, and they’re going to need us more than ever. Even if you have been on this away trip before please read all of the details below as there are new parking locations, entry and security measures you need to be aware of. Here is everything you and your new best friends need to know for this match day:

Tickets:
Your NEW ENGLAND Away Ticket(s) to stand with the Emerald City Supporters for the match on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 7:30 PM EST at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts are attached to this email! Print your ticket(s), bring them with you, and keep it with you for the entirety of the match.

Transportation & Parking:
Park in the Lot 20C (See attached parking map for specific details). Parking is free of charge. Parking will open at 5:30 PM. We will be sending you a parking pass in the next couple of days. Please print the parking pass as you will need to display it on your car windshield to gain access and be able to park in Lot 20C. There is no public transportation to Gillette Stadium, and cabs/ubers cost $$$. Feel free to coordinate carpools on the ECS forum thread for this game or on the SSE Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/SeaSoundersEast/

Prefunc:
The Red Rooster
510 Washington St
Wrentham, MA 02093

Join us at the Red Rooster from 4:00-5:15 p.m. to meet up with your fellow traveling supporters and local Sounders supporters.

No Host Tailgate:
There will be a no host tailgate before the match Lot 20C starting at 5:30 PM. Away travelers are welcome and encouraged to hang out and meet their fellow supporters. We will pack up at 6:15 PM and March at 6:30 PM to the Bank of America entrance escorted by security. Due to new security protocols we will no longer have our own gate entrance but our timing should allow us to enter prior to majority of opposing fans.

Stadium Entry:
ECS will enter Gillette through the Bank of America Gate at 6:30 PM. Expect any bags you are carrying will be checked by security. Speaking of bags. You will not be allowed to enter the stadium with any bag, including camera bags, backpacks purses, etc. Basically if you need to bring something with you the only bags allowed are clear gallon ziploc bags (or a clear bag no large than 12”x6”x12). If you feel you need to bring something other than your ticket bring a Ziploc bag. It will also be searched. We will also be going through metal detectors. The only exception to NE bag policy is that ladies are allowed to bring a clutch purse (but it must not be larger than the size of your hand 5”x8”.) They are pretty serious about this. Please mak e sure you are prepared.

Once our group has gained entry to the stadium we will be escorted to our section by security anticipating arrival by 7:00 PM.

Gametime Expectations:
Emerald City Supporters is a supporter group. That's important to remember. Our reason for being at the match is to spur our boys on toward victory; everything else is secondary.
    - If you bought tickets through ECS our section will be in Section 116. Our section will be treated as General Admission; we do not enforce seat assignments. Tifo, capos, drum, and security will be in the front 1-2 rows. Everyone else is invited to stand where they feel most comfortable.
    - Participation is encouraged. We'll have song cards so you can sing, chant, and go mental right along with us. Don't worry if you don't know all of the words, just follow along the best you can, and your support will be felt!
    - There may be times where you can't see as well as you might like due to flags and tifo. We like to wave flags. Even during the run of play sometimes. We feel like it's an important part of showing the boys our support. If a flag is in your way, and you don't like it - please feel free to change seats. That's part of why we do GA, so you're not stuck in an uncomfortable spot.
    - Friends or family in other non-Sounders MLS team gear or colors will not be allowed to stand with us. If you or someone in your group is wearing colors of another MLS team, they will be asked to remove those items. If they refuse, we will try to have your group reseated. If the stadium staff cannot accommodate a reseating, then your group will be asked to leave.
    - Please, do not engage in any way with home fans, and tie your scarves around your neck. Security will keep home fans at bay; there's no need to engage in any wordplay, taunting, threats, etc. If you have an issue, notify ECS Security, Travel Monkey, or stadium staff.
Postgame:
We will held in the section for a minimum of 10-15 minutes. Security will then escort the group back to Lot 20C. If you choose not to stay with the group, you assume the risks of your own security. Note that there is a fireworks show after the match, so we will be leaving prior to most of the home fans.

Anybody else happening to stay in the same hotel as me? Home2 Suites in Walpole? We could carpool in my car or we could split the cost of a Lyft to the perfunc and stadium.
